The Newburgh Illuminated Festival is an annual celebration held on the streets of downtown Newburgh. It is free event, enjoyed by 15,000+ attendees, shining a light on the the amazing, architecture, talent, art, food, crafts, and entrepreneurial spirit that inhabits the Hudson River Valley and, specifically, The City of Newburgh. This year's festival will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, starting at noon, at the intersection of Liberty Street and Broadway.

The Illuminated festival is put together by a small group of hard-working volunteers and depends on sponsorships and donations each year to make the magic happen. With the goal of fostering community involvement and raising some funds for the many logistics of the Festival, organizers have put together a series of FUN and Fundraising events in the months leading up to the Festival, itself.

"Meet the Makers" is an open invitation to musicians, dancers, artists, and vendors (past, present, or interested) to meet each other and the organizers in a relaxed, social atmosphere. It's also a great way for the community to get to know the amazing people who come together to make this Festival happen each year.

The Newburgh Brewing Company is a perfect example of the independent, enterprising spirit that built Newburgh and is contributing to the current rebirth. They are also an integral part of our community and never fail to help in any way they can. For this night, The Brewery and their bartenders are generously donating all CASH tips made between 6 and 9pm. Come experience the tasty eats, award-winning brews, communal atmosphere, and breathtaking views, while you enjoy the amazing talent that is the Nelly Bombs Trio.
